La 28ª entrega anual de los Critics Choice Awards se entregó el domingo por la noche.
Everything Everywhere All at Once fue nombrada mejor película y se llevó los honores a mejor dirección y mejor guión original para Daniel Kwan y Daniel Scheinert y mejor actor de reparto por Ke Huy Quan. De cara a la ceremonia, la película lideró con 14 nominaciones.
En el lado de la televisión, Abbott Elementary, líder en nominaciones (con seis), fue nombrada mejor serie de comedia. Better Call Saul ganó como mejor serie dramática, mientras que The Dropout fue nombrada mejor serie limitada.
Janelle Monáe fue honrada con el premio SeeHer, presentado por Kate Hudson, mientras que Jeff Bridges recibió el premio Critics Choice Lifetime Achievement Award de John Goodman en la ceremonia de este año, que tuvo lugar en el Fairmont Century Plaza de Los Ángeles.
